if u have static routes check your default gateway. mine did this: the last # jumped to the same # as the ip address. change this back to 1. also plug your ps3 directly into modem, if it works sounds like your router mighta died. if u have automatic routes, check your port forwarding for the ps3 and see what the ip address is for that and make sure its the same on your ps3. if not its probably because something else accessing the router took the ip address automatically and messed up the fowarding. alos possible, put your ps3 into the demilitarized zone in your router settings to give your ps3 full access to the modem. this might not be a good idea.

Is it definetley your router and not the PSN servers? This happens to me on a 2 weekly basis usually and whenever it does I jst have to leave the ps3 off. Do you still have a connection with your PC?

Setup a static IP and run it on a DMZ. Should solve all router problems.
