First off I think it is retarded that the ps3 controller will not work with ps2 games...if it does then I must be doing something wrong!  Someone told me that all I need to do is get an adapter to connect my ps2 controller into my ps3.  First i went to wal mart and they had no idea what i was talking about so i went to radioshack and got the same response.  lastly i went to gamestop and the guy working only said "well uhmmm, i dont really have a lot of experience with the ps3 but I know we dont sell anything like that."  What is a guy to do about playing his ps2 games on the ps3?

What are you talking about?

The Sixaxis works just fine with PS2 games. You just need to press the Home button after you started up a PS2 game, so it recognizes it as connected. That's all.

there should be a pretty little message when your ps2 game starts up that says "Please press the PS button".  You're other clue coulda been that the light on top of the controller goes out.  Just press the PS button.

Pretty lil rant though. lol :P

just what i was going to say. the ps3 controller works fine and i had no problems playing my ps2 games with it. if you want to use your ps2 controller with the ps3 you just need an adapter. you can get it at amazon or somewhere else for about 15 bucks.
