Well my PS3 controller isn't working. It won't turn on via PS Button. I have to "jump start" it by usbing it into my computer which turns it on unplug it then the PS3 turns on. Then None of the buttons work at all. Same with analogs. and Its like rapidly changing between account management and sign in. Like im pressing the up down buttons super fast. Any one know whats wrong ?? or how I could possibly fix it ?

You can try resetting the controller with the reset button under it, then plug it again in your ps3 to get it sync. Maybe...Still...I don't know why you light wouulndn't blink when it's plug in the ps3

I did that already. Nothing :/ Its weird like NONE of the buttons work at all. I dont really want to pay 50 bucks for a new controller either.

Honestly no idea...I've worked on a bunch of controllers, but sometimes they literally just crap out. I bought a brand new controller not too long ago, played with it for a day and then out of no where one of the d-pad buttons stopped working. I didn't throw the controller, drop it, spill anything on it....just played with it and sat it down. Seems some just have random technical faults...

Luckily for me that happened within the first few days of buying it so I just returned it and got another one...But this seems to be a prominent unsolved issue so I'll look around and see if I can find anything... Just a few questions though. You guys having this issue, what is the condition of the controller? Have you spilled anything on it or thrown it? :P

How did you fix it?

Well I once you take the controller apart theres a piece of foam that goes into a certain spot and it pushes the ribbon cable to make contact with the motherboard and that makes the connection so the analog and stuff works. The piece of foam just fell out of place. If u need more help i can grab the video that helped me.
