i think the r/l2 buttons are rubbish. it should have been the r/l1 buttons that had the increased depth. i keep hitting these by accident and screwing up my game.
however, k2dart2k is right, it's rumble. a third party group went to sony and showed them how to put rumble into their pads but sony told them to eff off coz they had had legal issues in the past (this group sued sony). but now they've kissed and made up and are working on bringing rumble back. i'm delighted coz i miss it.

Indeed, the only thing I want changed is Rumble, Red/Blue/Green LED behind the playstation button, triggers that have a curve to fit your fingers instead of feeling like they'll slide off .. maybe make them feel more like triggers
I wish they had just kept the Boomerang, because it was suppose to be ergonomic which is something that the Dualshock design lacks.

I agree. The boomerang looked dorky but ergonomic, and I would take ergonomics over looks any day (well almost any day). I wish they would fix the triggers. If they did that I would be happy, of course if they wanted to rearrange the analogue sticks for us FPS players I would be even happier.
right,` my frst thought was different controllers for every type of game, eg racing, fps....etc...etc
then i rememebered you get/got a racing wheel one.
THEN i remembered i had a menecer for my sega, back in the day. now, they were lame coz it was infra red laser of whatever, and you had to keep the thing pointed straight at the wee box thingie, but surely with bluetooth that wouldn't be a problem. the only thing would be moving the character. you could have a control for moving in directions, but maybe even looking/moving the camera could be done by moving the gun-controler left right up down. that would be cool. you might also need an x button, maybe where the thumb rests, coz you know how you have to occassionally flip a switch or something in these games.
seriosly, i'd buy it.
