PS3 display problem

Hey, just got a PS3 last week and am having a problem where bands of color constantly flow up the screen. Does anyone know a way to remedy this?

HDMI? COMPONENT? COMPOSITE?

What brand TV you using?

Ill try and help once I know more about your set up

I'm using Component AV (6 plug) cables with a Philips HD TV.

Brand new PS3, Brand new cords... nothing appears to be dirty.
