I have got an LCD which technically supports FULL HD but it doesn't have an HDMI input. I have an component PS3 HD AV cable. If i use a cable which is VGA male to RGB female and then connect the HD AV cable (RGB male) to RGB female, now connecting the PS standard display to ps3 and the other end (VGA) to my LCD, will it give an HD display ??? Pls help i want to enjoy the FULL HD experience !!!!! It would be really APPRECIATED !!!!!

A full HD TV without an HDMI input?? Sounds like there is something wrong. Whatever. If you have a DVI input on th TV you can also use HDMI-DVI cable.

1. If your monitor supports HDCP the you can use a DVI to HDMI cable.

2. An adapter for component to vga should work, however even though it's possible to achieve 1080p through component I don't think the PS3 lets you output 1080p through component, I'm not 100% on that but I think I read somewhere it didn't.
