They already started shipping out to worldwide. Its takes 5 days to 2 weeks. If you are getting uncharted, u must get dual shock 3. It rocks with it. The US launch is quite far off. It will be in spring 2008. Furthermore, now there is a discount. It will not be forever. If you don't get it now with the discount, you may have to pay more once the promotion is over. I heard a few weeks ago, the dual shock 3 were out of stock. I also have a hard time searching for it.

I got one and half my games support it. It is great battery life is awesome and if you can get it for $59 since there was a deal going on at play-asis then get it but if not I heard it is suppose to come to the US early but that is just a rumor.

This may sound like a stupid question but is there any difference from getting one from Play-Asia online and having it shipped over to the US as compared to waiting for it to come out in the US? Like are there any differences in this controller and the one that will be released? If not why is the same exact controller out in japan but they wouldnt release it in the US for a few more months?steve638

Get one. If you have UT3 it's amazing with it, same with Uncharted. It vibrates eleganty, and feels alot different than the DS2. Oh, and it's heavier, and feels more sturdy; I like it that way.
