Hi!

When you guys eject your PS3, does it make a sound? I dont refer to the normal ejection sound of the system trying to remove the disc.

What I am referring to is like a "blink" (or "ti") sound similar to the sound when you turn on your PS3 system.

Does your PS3make that sound? I remember my friend's PS3 used to make that sound, but I recently bought a PS3 and it doesnt seem to. I was wondering if anything is wrong. I checked settings. No luck.

Help pls.

Thanks!

^YES!

I love that too.

It's like, you slide the disc out like butter then it clicks just at the right time as if to say "Thanks for playing!"

thanks a lot for all your replies :D

when you put your finger on that touch sensitive button for disc eject. do you hear the click sound? I know the rumbling sound of the disc coming out is normal. but im referring to the "click" sound made when you put ur finger on that button.

Also, another quick question. some PS3 have a very dark blue background as their default background in the vertical bar menu. However mine came as grey as default. Does that mean its older version or what not? I can't seem to find that dark blue color and I really liked it alot :( Please help.

Thanks!!!!

No, mine doesn't make a click sound when I touch the Eject.

As for the background, the color changes according to the month. The brightness of the color changes throught the day.

How long are you holding your finger over the eject button. It will beep if you hold it for too long, or it there is not disc in the system.

Yep if there's nothing in there then it goes "beep-beep-beep", but if there's a disc in it then I don't think it makes any beeping noise.

Wow, wierd question considering mine just stopped making the beep. It always used to, then I set up my HDMI cables, my power went out later that day, and now it doesnt anymore. I noticed it immediately, but I couldnt figure it out, and I have no idea what happened.

but even without the sound, everything is normal right?
