PS3 Fan Test = ?

Hey recently my PS3 fan is loud all the time... Its been 2 years and has never happened before. So my friend says its because of the internal dust and i should do a fan test to remove it, but i saw some videos on you tube and they say that fan test can ruin your ps3... is it true?

I vaccum out my PS3 where the fan.I do it every month now.Fan is really calm.

Don't belive that.When you play in a room that is not vented very well your PS3 fan will kick it.It's happen to me and to my friends and after they moved their PS3's from the area where it was blocking the fan things changed..

Your friend is dumb. The fan test is bad for your ps3 and can cause your fan to burn out. The best way to clean ur ps3 is to use a vacum to suck the dust out.
