I just won ps3 on ebay for 270+10 shipping= 280. Did I get ripped off or was it a steal?

It's a power seller with a pretty good rep percentage So I think you're in the green. Did you get any kind of extended warantee from them?

You should never buy a gaming system online. Your best bet is to purchase it from Best Buy with their 2 Year Warranty and you can return/exchange it anytime no questions asked.

It's from a power seller with a high rep percentage. I don't think he has to worry about any scams. Hopefully he did arrange for an extended warantee though.

Looks like a decent deal. It is refurbished though but shold be alright. It is one of those things where; if it works perfectly fine, then you saved a good amount of money, if it doesn't then it wasn't such a good deal. Judging by his feedback, you got a good console.

yea real good price. most ppl have to end up paying $400 fo one, When i get away with a mere 280 but still a lot of money to me.I think am set for Christmas.Am mainly going to use this for movies/exclusive games.

i work at a cell phone store, and i don't trust the refurbished models i sell to customers.

with a console, my doubts would run even higher. with a warranty, there should be no problem.. or problems / send-ins abound.

what you dont want to spend the extra 20 dollas on a new console but rather risk 280 on a refurbished one, does not make since. As a post said earlier you should just go to BB CC ... and purchase one with there 2yr warranty

If it works, and comes with controlers, cables, etc., its a steal. It might break though. You might have broke the bank.

i agree with this dude

not trying to hurt OP, but it's true because sony does not honor the sales receipt from ebay. =/ most ebayers don't give you the original sales receipt. make sure you demand one before you commit to buy. most ebay sellers are not authorized sellers. Sony does honor purchase from amazon, dell, and any other online authorized retailers just not ebay and one more thing, you should remember that you take this risk by saving 40 bux. but if ur system bricks, be ready to shell out 150 bux plus tax

well there is a option were i could pay $30 for 2 year form square trade.
