NO ps3 games have good online clan support it just all you can do is put a tag on your name.....I havent seen anything since battlefield 2 where you could put a tag then get into a lobby and search to play other clans and there was a clan leaderboard aswell!! now because developers are **** lazy you havent to try set up a crappy unofficial one yourself at gamebattles. Games should have much better clan support!

Your thoughts?

Rant over. :)

I personally do not care about Clan support, however I do understand that many people do love clan support.

It adds more competition to games and allows gamers to get with other gamers whom are excellent at the same game.

However, with the friend's list, there seems little to no reason to have clan support, except for FPS games.

Clans were made very popular by Halo 2.

If you want clan/guild/linkshell support, do what mmorpg's do and just make your own forum-website and just establish a main "official" forum website for the game. then hopefully by word of mouth and advertising itll become popular and you could start tournaments. Simple as that.

Socom:Confrontation has me more exited aboot clan options than any shooter ever, COD4 is just something to keep me occupied until then. It's gonna have all of the ladders and tourneys your heart desires, in addition to a customizable clan camo & patch to more easily be targeted, the options go on forever but if you like third person shooters at all you should really look into it.
