I own 3 PS3s, a 40gb model, a 20 gb model, and a 60gb model all in which I've upgraded to 500gb HDDs and I've never ever had any of them freeze except when game discs were in them that were dirty and needed cleaning. But I also have Xmission-Utopia internet that's 50gb per second. patriots7672
