I just bought my PS3 a few days ago brand new , from a local ToysRUS , and I ve been having a problem where the console freezez up during game play pretty occasionally. Does anyone else have this problem ?
if u just got it call sony they will give u a new one, i had mine for 2 months before and it stop working, so they gave me a new one and it works great!

Why would he want to wait for shipping one when he could just take it back to the store and basically do the same thing?
Clean your game discs and then quit putting your dirty fingers on the bottom (readable side). You're like the billionth person that has posted this. The PS3 doesn't freeze, it can't read dirty discs.

Actually my discs are perfectly clean , not only that but i just bought the games ..there are no smudges or fingerprints on them.The console not only freezez , but I have to actually restart the system from the console itself ..the controller doesnt respond either.
Thanks for the replies , I think im just gonna go to the store and exchange it . I only have 1 other question what happens to the Super Puzzle Fighter game I downloaded , do i lose it if i get a new console , or can I redownload it for free ?
why r ppl telling him to call sony?..he has a warrenty jus take it back an they will give u a brand new one the same day...screw sony!(thats option is is for the ppl without warrentys)
