ive noticed that. after the last firmware update to the ps3. my ps3 has been freezing. but not while playing a game. but while launching it. u know when u put a disc. n then select it n push X the screen turns black and the game starts 3 or 4 seconds later. well on my ps3 it doesnt. at first it happened once in a while. i remember the first time it happened i was playing Shadows of the Damned. next time was a couple days later while i was trying to get on home. well now it happens every day. actually its happened twice a day. i was playing Deus Ex i quit n try to get on home. but home never launched. i had to literally unplug my ps3 from the wall cuz it wouldnt even turn off manually. so here is my questions. is anyone else having this problem? should i be worried?. or should i restore my HDD? cuz if it happened just with games then it would be my ps3 is not reading games. so idk what to think. oh and before ppl ask. no it doesnt freeze while playing. just at launching a game/home. any help would be appreciated.
