PS3 Freezing and Cant read games ! HELP !

Just recently my ps3 started freezing while I was playing games like Skate 2 so I tried to quit the game and it didnt work so then I tried to turn it off. That didnt work either so I just turned off the master power button in the back and after that everything worked until it froze again and I did the same thing. But now the games wouldnt read for about 30 min and when I tried start the games up it said Error code 80010514 so I turned it off and then booted the ps3 up again and it just stopped reading games and now I cant play any ps3 games. The xmb still works and online and everything like that but my ps3 games.

well, I think i solved my problem by fully restoring my ps3. Maybe it will help you. But you may lose your trophies. and will lose game data (unless you back it up to a usb stick).boogernator

^^^ This is the same exact thing that happened to me. My 60 gb just stopped reading all games altoogether one day(a week before K2 came out, and I had SF IV in my hand...ouch) I tried to do a quick format, long format, restore...the whole shebang....nothing. You may have to bite the bullet and call up Sony to have it serviced if you still are receiving problems. Also try to clean out the vents with some compressed air, it could just be very dusty.Steel_Rain777
