u'll probably need different cords so that they fit into american plugs and stuff...unless it's only europe where they have freaky outlets....It's because my borther is overseas right now and he asked me if a Ps3 from over ther would work here because he wants to get one.
but yea, if u can read whatever language it's set in, go for it.
actually....you can change the system's language can't you?
wouldn't the system be expensive with shipping? it has to go overseas and all....then again, idk.kutabare91
hmm...i don't c y it wouldn't work. If it works there, it works here.
what would suck though is if you had a problem with it. You COULD possibly end up having to mail it back to asia to get a repair/replacement. that would take...a long time.
True but what problem would I have with it. I own a 360 and have gotten RRoD twice what problems does the PS3 have?hmm...i don't c y it wouldn't work. If it works there, it works here.

dont worry it will work
im from Asia (UAE) and all the PS3 here are actually made for US ,so u r fine
[QUOTE="mezzo20"]they will work just be sure that the volts are according to usa 110v-140v or else u will need a step down transformer.solo4321can i just buy a new power cord from gamespot?
What he said. Just be sure of the volts. I'm from asia (Phil.) and just as cool steam said, most PS3s' here (Cebu, Philippines), are actually from the US. Just ask your brother bout the volts. I think any appliance/electronic store would have a converter. Not sure though. Good luck!
