PS3 game with the great boss battles?

I got the PS3 recently and I am looking to get some good games. I like good games that have great bosses like RE 4 on the PS2. I am not sure if the RE 5 lived up to the RE 4. What are some good games that have great boss battles? Shooter, fighter, action, driving, whatever.

God of War 3. Best boss battles this gen.

Demon's Souls has some pretty sweet boss battles.

I say this as someone who hasn't played God of War 3 yet...

Darksiders has got some pretty challenging boss fights also. Ninja gaiden sigma 1 and 2 have got excellent boss fights. RE5 is also a good option.

Modern warfare 2 has got some serious end of level firefights that get as intense as a boss battle.

Metal gear solid 4

Genji: Days of the blade where you get to kill that historical giant crab lol. (Great boss battles)

Prototype has a few memorable ones.

Devil May Cry 4 comes to mind.

Demon's Souls, GOW3, Metal Gear Soild 4, Heavy Rain.

Metal Gear Solid 4, easily. The final boss battle sucked pretty hard, but all the battles before it were awesome.

Resistance 2 also has some fun boss battles because they're BIG.

God of war like three or four people agree with me. Demon souls not half bad either.

I have God of War 1 for PS2 and I beat it. It was good but I thought the attacks were very repetitive. Not the death moves. I have to say that some of the youtube clips of the God of War 3 bosses are very impressive though. Bosses are HUGE and so much detail. Last Metal Gear that I played was Subsistence and I wasn't a huge fan of it as everybody else because of the stealth action. Maybe I didn't give Subsistence a chance. Maybe I will give Metal Gear another try especially because it is very cheap now and the boss battles look nice.

Demon's Souls or God of War 3 have the best

Disgaea 3 had intense boss battles. Fighting bosses that were 4000(Baal) is hard as hell.

GOW3, nothing else even comes close.

mgs4 has the best boss battles, and they are sooo epic.

transformers war for cybertron has good boss battles.

God of War 3 and Dead Space

METAL GEAR SOLID 4. Listen to me. This game has by far the best boss battles, as does the entire MGS franchise.
