Hi guys, just was thinking about what games nowadays have the best value??

Like sports games like Fifa 09(god thats good) have great replay value, online and off..

Just was wandering, what r games that have really good story and really good offline and online play??
I only know of fifa and yeah..

Killzone 2 would be 1 but thats just online which kills multiplayer at parties...

I will give you a list of games that have good SINGLEPLAYER replayability. Not all of them have multiplayer.

  1. Metal Gear solid 4.The game has lots of emblems to collect, different difficulties to try out and if you like the story you will be going through it again anyway.
  2. V.Chronicles.Going through different missions trying to get an A rating, plus new DLC is coming along.
  3. Condemned 2.You can try to get gold status on each mission thus unlocking more goodies.I went through the game 4 times, plus there is other game modes to try out.
  4. GTA4.The game is boring but there are things to do in the singleplayer that will last you quite awhile, especially compaired to others.
  5. Rainbow Six Vegas 2.Great singleplayer.Online and offline co-op,good multiplayer.Ribbons and badges to collect in the single and multiplayer
  6. Fallout 3-Massive RPG
  7. Oblivion GOTY edition-Even bigger RPG
  8. Ninja gaiden sigma.Addicting yet challenging singleplayer, you can upload your stats online for the world to see.
  9. Devil may cry 4.Another addicting action game.Once you get the hang of it you will be trying to beat those new difficulites and modes
  10. Assassins creed. If you don't get bored with the gameplay there is quite abit to do....especially if you love finding flags.

Hope this helps abit.

Don't forget to add Disgaea 3 to those lists! You can play that for literally hundreds of hours and still not have done everything.

Assassin's Creed : killing templars and collecting flags

Eyad-93

You're kidding, right? That entire game is one repetitive string of boring events. That's not replay value at all...there's virtually no incentive to go after any of that stuff.

Anyway, Burnout Paradise is a game with great replayability. It's almost fun to beat it all and then start over again, finding all the jumps/stunts/shortcuts/billboards and beating all the road rules.

Ratchet & Clank Future Tools of Destruction if you go for all the skill points. Uncharted has treasures, medals and trophies. Resident Evil 5 has a lot of replay value and all of it's trophies can be gained from single player. Grand Theft Auto IV and Fallout 3 have a lot. LittleBigPlanet has so much that it can get overwhelming.

Civilization revolution.

All the sports games

SF4

VF5

GTA4

etc.

Basically all the games that has something other than main story mode. Something repetitive but fun doing repetitive stuff.

For me it's Valkyria Chronicles. The skirmishes and main story are great, and then it only gets better when you unlock the Hard Mode for skirmishes. Fantastic game.

If its replayability you are after you should get the "Eye Of Judgment".
Everyone who owns a PS3 should get the eye of judgment. Amazing offline and incredible online.

MGS4: lots of emblems to find

Dead Space: freakin amazing single player game. Try upgrading all the weapons and getting the trophies; it will take you a while.

Bioshock: Yet another great single player game. It has lots of trophies and there are so many ways you can play it after you beat it once.

Fallout 3: don't need to say anything about this game that hasn't already been said. tremedous replay value.

Burnout Paradise: Single player mode consists of TONS of things to unlock and discover.

There's more, but I'm too lazy....

Smartest Kid in America everyone. The next president for sure. Anyways, I'd have to agree on Valkyria Chronicles; It's an awesome RPG, is long, and has lots of Value considering it is only $30 bucks at Gamestop now.

Lol. If you have friends/roommates/brothers, sports games provide a ton of replay value. VC is also great. I got a C on every single mission the first time around.

RE5 and Uncharted. Fun games if on the short side however you'll be playing them over and over.

The trophies aren't too hard to get either.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Completing it on differennt difficulty levels is entertaining.

Call of Duty: World at War - Completing it on Veteran is challenging.

Street Fighter 4 - Arcade Mode and Challenges to go through.

Wow nobody mentioned Skate 2. Sure there's a bad storyline, but most of the time you don't need to do any missions. Just pick a spot and skate. skate. skate.

Buy skate 2.
