Hey, I have a 360 and a ps3, and I recently started playing my ps3 again, and the average player is alot worse then players on XBL, Now I'm not trying to be offensive, but does anyone else find this true?

Maybe in your own experiences, yes, that might be the case. However, I don't know of anyone else making the same complaints. What you believe might be true; then again, you could be entirely wrong.Hey, I have a 360 and a ps3, and I recently started playing my ps3 again, and the average player is alot worse then players on XBL, Now I'm not trying to be offensive, but does anyone else find this true?

The playstation platform was never really known for its shooters(until this gen), so this is almost expected.
XBL was built upon a shooter and the PC is a given.

Well, I thought it was all in my head, then 2 of my other friends mentioned it... then it got me thinking :D
I have to admit the 360 controller is better at FPS compare to the Dual Shock 3 but people on PSN is really good at shooters. I use DS3 with deafult setting and I am getting my fifth perstige today and just one more nuke away from that cool .gif nuke emblem.
I also played with people on PSN who already reached 10th perstige. They get team work right and they always headshot 95% of the time.

But that may be the above average player xD I'm just sayin, i think theres more people on xbox like that than on ps3.
Actually yea.. i seem to do better first time round on the PS3 with a shooter over the 360. especially on Killzone2.. i made it til the top 6%in the first week and always stayed in the top 3-5 of everygame i played.
nah, theres way more little kids on 360 so the average player on ps3 is better... lolMethodManFTW
I waiting for this.
If you think about it, in the past two Playstation generations there weren't really that many shooter games, only this gen is where they have more and more shooters. And if you look at the design of the controllers, it's not designed for shooters but you can still use it.

The 360 become very popular for shooters this gen at the same time the ps3 did. The only reason you feel that people on the ps3 are bad is your opinion and not a fact. I feel like COD players on the 360 are worse compared to the PS3. In the end its my opinion. So next time blog it.
I don't think thats true, many of the players that I play against are good. I played MW on the 360 and I don't see any difference.
This is pretty hurtful :( ... :Pnot because I am a ps3 owner, but because I'm not a goodonline guy.... oh well, I'm sure I don'ta fourth ofthe experiencethat most peopleI meet online have.
Anyways, it's still not proven either, could be though, I mean, XBL is said to be more active and fun..... I think?

Have you seen some of thoes lil kids 0.o? I know an 11 year old whos like 7th prestige -.- (Doesn't boost much either he just has no life.. .. AT ALL)
I wouldn't be surprised if the 360 users in general are better at FPS games. If you bought a 360 more than likely it was for the FPS games so it makes sense. or perhaps there are more kids with lots of free time on xbox they play their shooters all day.i have the answer its simple. THE ONLY GOOD games on the xbox are shooters. what 10mil xbox owners play Halo and anohter 5mil play MW2. Us Ps3 owners have so many better games to play.. the other side to this is that we are all better then Xbox players and hence seem to be worse cuz we just dont die as easy. the good Xbox players dominate the crappy ones so it makes them look better.g3toutj00
No... more like 25 mill play mw2 :D and about 1 mill play halo. but
i guess you guys are right about the xbox 360 and shooters.

I see . . . however, you're generalizing the entire PSN community on you and your 2 friends experiences. You need more proof, my friend. :D[QUOTE="1076751"]

PS3 has approx 13-15 million users, whereas Xbox Live has approx 17 million users. So you're right. However, you still shouldn't generalize based on a few people's experiences. For example, I have a cousin who lives and breathes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and can play it amazingly on the 360 or PS3. However, he prefers to play it on the PS3 and he constantly tells me that the PS3 is much better, even with online gaming and players. Does this mean that he's right? Of course not. But if I followed your logic, he must be right. Do you see my point? If you think about it, in the past two Playstation generations there weren't really that many shooter games, only this gen is where they have more and more shooters. I must disagree with you on that statement.
I own both consoles and have logged hundreds of hours in FPS game time on both using each consoles respective controllers. I can go back and forth between them with ease and no issues. In my opinion, neither is better than the other. However, 360 console owners do tend, statistically, to play more FPS games. Therefore, you tend to hear the patently incorrect statement that the 360 controller is somehow better. This usually comes from people who play all their shooters on the 360 and only play some other games on their PS3. Not having the experience with the Dual Shock 3 controller, they magically deem it less conducive to playing FPS's. Again, that is an incorrect conclusion based on one-side information.
That is tantamount to saying that the 360 controller is not designed for JRPG's. Because most JRPG's are on the Playstation consoles.
not true i wish fanboys of xbox would stop saying such stupid stuff it depends on your taste all little kids have xbox thats why i quit halo hate that id rather have my ps3
pc is ment for rpgs thats all i have to say but gaming is gaming
ps3 will dominate for years to come xbox is loosing juice

Lol well you can tell that their those no life fattys. Anyway maybe its cause the gamers are different, xbox is basically all shooter games, halo, gears, and ps3 has more of a variety of exclusives killzone, rachet, demon souls. Its cause on 360 their are less no shooter games that are great to get into so they get used to shooting in every game. And theres more no lifes on xbl.[QUOTE="Cylon451"]
