Okay I'm trying to put my faith back in PS3 to stay happy with it :) Did you guys see the new Sony share blog feature?? I never realised our PS3 gaming brothers were so blind and stuburn. Several great ideals on there that are being played down and voted against. I'm beginning to wonder if we really have hope with gamers like that in our league keeping us from getting the updates we need to make PSN even better than what it is.

yeah well, there will always be jerkoffs, can't help it, their entire existence is devoted for being complete idiots, Though the only ideas I saw there with an actual negative vote count were really stupid ones, like having PlayStation network renamed to PlayStation nation... or duplicated ideas, because the one that posted them didn't had the time to do a 2 second search before to see if there was a similar one already posted...

so yeah, there are some things that there's no reason for not being implemented, would be good for eveyone and still people vote against...

maybe you are referring to the vote counts that appear by the side of the ideas? because that can be misleading, you have a number at the top by the side of the Green up arrow, and another number below it by the side of the red down arrow, by looking at it you get the impression that the top number are the votes in favor and the bottom ones are against, but it isn't, the top one is the total score(it's calculated by subtracting the negative votes from the positive ones, if it has more negative votes then positive ones it will have a - in front of it) and the bottom one is the total number off votes (positive and negative).

I think you may just be misreading the numbers. The top number is positive votes and the bottom number is total votes. Subtract the top from the bottom to get the total number of negative votes. The only things I've seen getting a lot of negative votes are pretty stupid or not worth Sony's effort.

I've got my favorite ideas, but just because the majority of people don't agree with me doesn't mean they're all idiots. Everybody has their own priorities. Sony has been criticized in the past for coming out with new features in firmware updates that nobody wanted. Now they're apparently trying to do something about that. So now people complain that the majority are such idiots that how can we even share the same gaming console as them? LOL. It never ends.

I put in the idea on www.us.playstation.com that they should update the PS3 to be able to let a user select a music playlist that starts playing when you sign in and plays always unless you turn it down. Where you can bring up the level of music sound and game sound in the XMB. That let's you select the level of each like as when you play Stardust. It would be a great feature.

The number beside the vote against is the total number of voters not the amount of people against the idea
