All of my PS3 games look pretty sexy compared to the PS2 games I play even with the smoothing option on.

TC Rainbow 6 Vegas.... worst graphics, for me at least, on the ps3. When i bought the game and loaded it up, i mustve turned the ps3 on and off about 5 times trying to see if something was wrong( who knows maybe there was) but from what i could see, they looked like ps2 grapjics or worse... although at the time i did install my HDMI cables and output was at 1080P full HD.

and to answer your question Mercenaries 2 was quite bad graphically, but heck i like blowing stuff up...

Other than the lighting and textures, inFamous looks like a ps2 game IMO.

I'd say the graphics in Saints Row 2. It looks like first generation PS2 graphics. Not that it matters to me anyway, it's still a blast to play.

i played fallout 3 and i liked the gameplay, but not the graphics, RESIDENT EVIL 4 FOR PS2 looks better, BUT i like fallout 3 its not a bad game.

Mercenaries 2 comes to mind. Awful graphics for an awful game.

Valkyria Chronicles, NOW before you start bashing me, I was thinking that this game was similar to Okami in a way, which is pretty hard tell whether it's a game or not graphically and I'd like to give the same compliments to VC.Rhen_Var

I don't think there are any games on the PS3 that look like PS2 graphics, but the graphics in The Orange Box looked kinda bad in my opinion.

godfather 1 and 2, some PSN games that arent classic look like PSone games, slightly fallout 3 at parts

Really? One of the worste eh? I beg to differ there buddy. Unless you had cardboard cut-outs glued to your T.V., I think you were playing the wrong game or had some settings off.

Ok bro i agree with legendary, sellshock 2, fear, world championship snooker and formula one, but i think smackdown doesnt look so bad, like 6/10 in graphics but still is a great game, also if youre a wwe fan

i think some of you need to pop in your ps2 games again

i still play ps2 games and VC looks amazing there is no way it is possible on a ps2 same as warhawk and fallout 3

other then disgaea 3 i havent played any ps3 game that would be possible on the ps2(not including psn games)

DefinitelyR6 Vegas I bought it and took it back immediately. Ghost Recon Advance Warfare 2 wasnt too far behind. Neither was Resistance. At least I finshed Ghost Recon the other two I couldn't stand long enough to even play through 10 minutes of. Resistance was the better of the three graphically but I just didn't like it visually or gameplay wise. Not after playing COD 4 and Killzone 2. It was horrible in comparison. Ghost Recon 2 was very fun I had to just live with the graphics in that one bu they did suck compared to alot of PS3 games.

I do agree that the PS2 couldn't handle any PS3 game. I just think think the bad ones just weren't developed to match th e strength of the PS3 that's all. What else could it be when you put the crappy ones up next to COD 4 Killzone 2, Big Little Planet, and yes some of the cripy looking PSN games out there as well. There shouldn't be any argument about that at all. That has to be the case.

Are we all playing the same Warhawk? I think some of us have been spoiled! Warhawk rated 8.5

Ace Combats 4rated 8.8 so I'm not trying to grab a bad looking ps2 game, I'm trying to grab a great looking one to compare.

IMO Warhawk doesn't look anything like a ps2 game and the graphics are actually pretty great in comparison.

Mega Man 9 looks like a 8 bit game ;PGoldglove

fallout 3 is a little stiff. but by no means graphically inferior.

Enchanted Arms is not that hot in the graphics department. Still a solid game though.

Even the worst games out on PS3/360 dont look like last gen. We're just getting used to great HD quality games and we truly forget what last gen looked like. Go ahead, pick up your best looking PS2 game and throw it on your HD tv. Tell me it doesn't look like mud. I will agree that some games still lack effort and/or great graphics...but they are far from last gen.
