Anyone had this problem, you turn on the PS3 (either after a night, or 5 minuetes of being off) and it tries to turn on then beaps, flashes the yellow light once then starts flashing red. But then when you turn it on again just after it works fine?
Keeps hapeneing to mine so dont know what to do as it cant be a problem with overheating.

Since mine died suddenly and was really dead, I would make a backup of your data ASAP !

My first PS3 did this before it stopped working for good with a YLOD. My suggestion is backup your data while you can and deactivate your accounts.

Im phoning Sony about it tomorow but doubt they can do anything seeing as I got it off ebay. Seller claimed it was faultless though and ive had it less than a week.
