Thats why I still havent picked up resistance, I just figured sooner or later it will be a discount game. I didn't figure it would take that long though.

No idea last sony console I owned was the ps1. I figured that resistance would atleast drop 10 bux over its almost 2 year run, but no its still 59.99 for a launch game lol.

Yea it ruins the cover. Plus new games makes you feel like a badass when all your friend come over and see you're not a cheapskate lol

This whole Greatest Hits arguement is probably one of the weirdest gaming-related quirks I've heard about. I can understand why people hat the "gut copy" from Gamestop/EB games, but come on ... to me greatest hits = classic. But hey, I guess I shouldn't be the one to talk because I have some pretty weird gaming quirks myself.

i was in my local walmart Sunday and in the 20.00 game shelf they had Beowolf and Fantastic Four,I dont know how much they were i didnt scan them but they werent behind the glassvj226966

That won't happen (unfortunately). Think about it. You're asking them to give you more than you got when the game was originally released but for a smaller retail price than when the game was originally released.

It actually is a discount. PS1/PS2 games were never $59.99, so that's why they were $19.99, but Ps3 games are $59.99, so you do the math.

About time we got some more reasonable priced, quality software. I do hope it's not the 37 price rage that they hit us up for though. 20-30 seems more reasonable to me given the comparable price cut done with the PS2 games. In the end, I don't really mind the "red label" but if I had my choice of the original and greatest hits packaging, I'm picking up the original. Keep them price cuts coming Sony!

It annoys the hell out of me when they give games the dodgey 'Classic' cover on it, there is no reason to do it and no one likes it.

Good question, it's why I wonder why do people think in-game XMB is going to be out sometime in the next decade. Hopefully it'll be there with the PS5 though, never know with Sony's term of "soon"

I think someone needs to tell Sony not to announce anything until a week before its release, and thats only when they are 1,000,000,000% sure there will be no delays. Nobody likes waiting..

hm... i wonder what color we'll get? PS1 was that HIDEOUS lime green, PS2 had the pretty good-looking red... i saw that in europe they're this ugly yellow. ew. i hope we get something a little more aesthetically pleasing... maybe a blue? hell even purple would look better than that yellow.
i also hope they're like $20. i don't want to have to pay $30 for a launch game, and i will NEVER pay $40. so yeah...
