I finally bought a PS3 the other day, but i cheaped out and bought the 40GB hard drive. I have a feeling i will regret this. Does anyone know if they are going to come out with a larger size drive to purchase seperately? If so where can i find it?

You can buy your own hard drive and install it. The instructions and specs for the drive installation are in the PS3 manual, at least for the 80gb.BurningChimaera
Yep. Basically and SATA HDD will work. THink its SATA anyways. HAve yet to come close to filling up my 80gb so upgrading has never occured to me. THink you could even just get an external USB drive and use that.

The only thing to regret about getting a 40 is the lack of ps2 compatibility. If you don't care about that, then there's nothing really to worry about. As was mentioned, you can buy just about any 2.5" (notebook) SATA HDD. Since ou don't have to get a specific proprietary drive, like with other consoles, it is much cheaper.
