I play my PS3 all the time but today i turned it off and came back about an hour later and now it won't display an image. On the TV it says 1080i but the screen is just blank. I can still connect the controllers and all the lights on the system are on but it's just not displaying any image. Has anyone even heard of this problem before?.

P.S i've tried holding the reset button.

When this happens here is what you do.

Instead of simply pressing the power button on, hold it until you hear a second beep. That should reset it back to the factory setting and when you turn it on the next time your TV(or ps3) should say it detects HDMI cables.

Edit* I see you say you have already tried that. Sorry

If I were you I would try the reset trick again. I know you tried it once already but its happened to me before where the first attempt didnt work properly
