You don't! There is no need for defragmentation on the PS3 due to the file system that Sony chose to use.

Well if your desperate back it up, format the ps3 hard drive, then restore everything.

Just like NTFS? LMAO

The PS3 doesn't use NTFS. You can look it up. NTFS gets fragmented and requires defragmentation from time to time. Research ext3 and enlighten yourself a bit into the world of unix/linux.
