I was looking through the ads. in the Best Buy papers yesterday and i saw they're selling PS3 bundles with HDTV's, a Blu Ray movie, and a PS3 game. One of them comes with the Sony 60' SXRD, a PS3, a choice between Motorstorm or MLB2007(i think) and a choice between 3 Blu Ray movies at the price of 2600 USD. Sorry, I dont have a link for this, but you definitely wanna check it out.

I saw that. I was looking at the deal on the front page with the 1080p bravia and the same extras that you mentioned and it seemed that all of the savings were on the TV itself. Couldn't you just buy the TV without the PS3 etc.. and still get the savings? It seems as if Best Buy is trying to confuse people into buying extra stuff that isn't necessary to get the savings. I didn't look real close at the SXRD deal but I would guess it's along those same lines.

I would do some checking around on this because you may be able to buy the same thing seperatly somewhere else at the same price or maybe even less.

Was it a 60inch SXRD 60a2020 or 60a2000? They recently dropped the price of the 60A2020 from $2599 (yet they keep charging a ton for the older 60A2000). I had bought one (a2020) a month ago from Circuit City when it was $2899 list and with a sale and coupon got it down to $2100 before tax. Circuit City as the it now again for $2299 with a 10 coupon code right on the page, so a total of $2070. Then throw in the $600 PS3, a $60 game, and $90 movies, that's $2820, but I bet you could deal with a manager to get $200 taken off the PS3 or something as a deal. None the less, the $2600 price someone mentioned seems like a good deal, not even a online store could compete with that.
