I wanted to order Socom for the PS3 today , mainly for the headset , but there weren't anymore in stock , and the new bundles are coming in one months time .

So i need to find a new headset.Firstly , do USB headsets even work whit the PS3 ? If they do , would this ones be good enough ?

1)TRUST HS-4100 USB Headset -http://www.buscomp.co.yu/products/images/6702.jpg

2)TRUST HS-4200 USB Headset - http://www.trust.com/products/product_detail.aspx?item=15486

I live in a small town so those are the only ones i could fine , will they work whit the PS3 ?

I can't wait for a month and a half for the headset that comes whit SOCOM ,as i need them now.

Or i could order -

Headset Logitech Vantage USB

I think those headsets might work but it's not wireless. The whole idea of the new SOCOM head set is that it is wireless. Instead of spending the money why not just dig out your old headset and use it til more come in at your local store. Or why not just buy the new one on ebay or a Circuit City website, it would be shipped to you in a few days.

I would use my old , but they ended in the trash a long time ago lol , they broke .

This may sound like a very stupid question ... but how long are usually the wires for the USB headsets , because i play like 3M away from the TV (its a 55 inch on the wall , so i don't wana go blind lol) .
