I have an xbox 360 and like it very much. but i used to have a PS2 and not and xbox. i was a fan of God of war and Kingdom hearts(yes that is lame but i have played it since the beginning and want to see it finished). i also like Sonys MLB series. I wont get rid of my 360 but should i save my money for a PS3 which may take till Christmas to get. There are few game i would like to get this year but i must have Bully and Gears 2. So anyway do you think i should save my money for the PS3. i here it works hell of a lot better than the 360 and is super quiet. i just don't know.
I hate to rain on your parade, butthe PS3is not quiter and its quality is shabby quality. The one I had died after 10 days. I got it for Xmas and it died last week (apparently overheated and something burnt out in the disc reader - no longer will read games or movies). The thing overheats easy as you can easily tell when the fan is running itself crazy like its having a coronary. My advice is that if you want to continue to buy one, I highly advise you to get an extended warranty. Its very irritating when you are trying to watch a movie and you have turn up the sound loud enough to drowned out the fan noise.

PS3 is definitely quieter, I don't know what's up with yours if it's loud. And shabby quality, that's just delusional talk, especially when you're comparing it to the 360. I work at a games shop, and in the past 5 months we've had about 3 PS3s returned faulty, compared to around 50+ 360's. There's always going to be a few that have problems though, that's called the law of averages.

Major is just being a whiny baby. He thinks cause his "ps3" failed that all ps3's will fail. All his posts have been saying the same thing in other people's posts. He claims its the same for all ps3's. I mean like ALL OF HIS POSTS. Something smells fishy here. I call shenanigans.
