Someone please help me i just bought a used ps3 the owner before had an hdtv and i dont have an hdtv and when i turn the ps3 on it makes noise but no pic what can i do?

If you have a standard definition TV and he had a HD TV, it is probably still on 720p or higher for the video resolution. If you can, I would take it back to whoever you bought it from and get him to set the video back to 480i or p.

You can reset it. Its in the manual did you get one with it?

I found it. Hold down the power button until it beeps twice.
