PS3 Home - I Want to Fight

I have been thinking about Home. I am not an aggresive person, but I would like my Avatar on home to fight other people's. How cool would that be. Mabey have an option that your guy is open to fighting. That would be cool for other people to walk by and watch other people fight. It would give it a GTA feel! And then, after to beat the tar out of someone, you can take them back to your house and share videos to show there is no hard feelings!!!

whether or not fighting ends up as an option, I think he is onto something here. The Wii has the ability to port your "Mii" character to other games, I could only hope that the Avatar we create in Home can be ported to other games that support it. The idea is really cool, because it feels a little less generic and more as if "you are in the game" Ya Dig?_sephex_

Now wouldn't that be something? I wonder if they've even considered something along those lines. I'd imagine that the implementation of something like that would be very tricky and in the case of many games unpractical since they want to tell their own stories and groom their own unique characters, but in instances where a game allows you to create your own avatar or even in sports games where you can create a player, an import option would be awesome!!! It's one heck of an idea!

Home is an ambitious undertaking as it is, but sony hasn't seemed shy about pushing the envelope with the PS3, even if mass appeal isn't immediate. As far as the fighting in home goes though, I don't think that goes well as far as building community. Who's going to want to jump in to home only to get ganked on their way to watch a few trailers? That one doesn't make much sense to me, unless you want to mutually launch a game of Tekken 6. ;)

I been in about 30 real fights since i was born. I dont need to start fights on the web.,. My thinking is that people who been in many fights growing up dont want nothin to do with it as they age like myself!!

I think fighting in Home is a bad idea. The reason for Home is to meet other PS3 gamers within the community and try to make new gaming friends.

Its bad enough that people can put all their "gaming trophies" on display in their virtual home, well I suppose it depends on how you look at it some people are proud whilst others are just plain showing off.

Lol. Still its gonna be good when it is released. My psn buddy is a ps3 something or other, some kind of moderator on the ps3 website, and he's got the beta.

Hopefully all being well it'll be released soon.

Uh, no. Home is not a game so if you want to fight, go check out Tekken or GTAIV or Virtua Fighter. It's supposed to give you a normal feeling where you do things that you normally do in real life. If you think going around and hitting people on the street for no reason is fun then you need help. Home is an interaction community where you talk to people and hang out "virtually".SPD_WeBmAsTaH
