PS3 hooked up to HP w1907 monitor

Ok so i have a hp w 1907 monitor, it has dvi and vga inputs in the back. how would i connect my PS3 to this monitro and another more important question is how would i get sound from it?

To get video: Get a - A) HDMI to DVI connector or B) Get a HDMI to DVI adaptor along with an HDMI cable.

To get audio: Use your PS3 A/V cable, connect it to speakers you have.

i have the same monitor, i dont like the sound of the speakers built in the monitor if i were you i would buy different ones since you are going to be connecting your ps3
