for those of you who enjoy watching blu ray on your ps3s, how is the playback, quality, and sound of the ps3 (e.g is it as loud as a 360)? sound meaning the sound of the hardware, not the sound of movies.
In terms of quality, the PS3 is the best blu-ray player out there to the date. Quality of the playback is the same as others but the PS3 is the only upgradable Blu-Ray out there atm.
As for hardware noise, I wouldn't know if my Ps3 was on if it wasn't for the green light.

The PS3 is the best Blu-Ray player and the console is very quite. I never turn my PS3 off and the fan hardly ever kicks on above the lowest speed (the only way I can tell how fast the fan is running is sitting rite beside the system).

thanks for the responses, seals the deal im buying this as the blu ray player of my choice. Better than standalone, and some killzone 2 sounds good too.
