hi guys,im thinking getting a ps3 as my 5th 360 in7 monthsis on its way out,i was just wondering what the games will look like on a standard tv,i had my xbox hooked up to my pc monitor but ive been told you cant do this with a ps3,although i did find a cable on amazon but your monitor has to behd ready all my monitor manual gives me is the screen res.i dont know if should stick with the 360 or go for the ps3,any info would be great

from what i know you CAN connect the PS3 to monitors, you just have to have the right cables

EDIT: you need a HDMI to DVI, i think

you can if you have a adapater which connects it to the PC screen, just google it and see what you can find, there are options.

Yea you can hook it up to a PC screen. But if you end up playing on an SDTV, it's still better than last gen by a long way. Obviously 360 on a PC screen is going to look better than PS3 on an SDTV, but graphics are still great on SDTV. But get a HDTV soon. I need to get one too.
