ps3 Internet Help....

So I got a PS3 and I set up the internet and everything. I play Call Of Duty 4 online and I get connection problems and I lag in the game. This happens into like 10-15 minutes of the game. I checked my Internet settings and everything is fine except for the fact that my signal is pretty weak. Any suggestions?
