Got any family members considering purchasing an expensive stand-alone Blu-ray player? They may want to read this article first.

Apparently Criterion Collection (amongst others) use the PS3 as their reference Blu-ray player. You know CC, right? The guys who remaster and improve pretty much every old film you've ever seen?

Let Grandma know she doesn't have to fork over $500 just to watch movies in better quality.

I love the Criterion Collection. 'Have a bunch of 'em. It would be so frickin' sweet if they started pumping out blu-rays.

Same here as well as the entertainment hub in my entertaiment center with the card readers and other features.
