IM in big trouble I bought a japanes ps3 and the problem is that I live in eruope! IT wont play any of my ps2 games ,it wont play any of my dvdS, so I dont care about blueray disks because I bought it for gamming not to watch dvd! but tell me plz that I didnt drop my money from the window ,the important thing is to play ps3 games ,I dont care about ps2 games also!!!
Didn't you already create this exact thread several days ago? And you were told in that thread that PS3 games are region free, but regular DVD's/Blu Ray & PS1/PS2 games are not. Why are you creating this same thread again when all of this was clearly answered for you already? This seems fishy to me.

OK Elamira, I checked you posting history & not only have you gotten clear answers on this issue here in the PS3 forums, but you also created a thread about it in System Wars as well & got very clear answers there too. So my question is, why do you keep creating the same thread over & over? I'm beginning to think you're a troll at this point...

YES it me man, but I tried a lot of my old ps2 games and dvds ( I recived this : this disk cannot be started due to region restrections!!!) and the upove that I owen two ps3 games region 3 the other region 1,thats mean games are coded!!!
Yes. PS2 games are regioncoded. PS3 games are the only thing region free on the PS3. DVD has regions, PS2 games has regions, PS1 games has regions and BR movies has regions.

realy thanks for every thing ,didnt want to make any specific thoughts to every one, just cant get the maximum from it thats IT . ITS my mistake I should wait for europe launch! ( you can add me to your freind list in ps3 its ( dualdainamic) and the 360 its ( majdi) thanks for every thing!
