My replacement PS3 shuts it self down whenever it feels like it but comes back on no problem, this always seems to happen when i'm online especially on socom, i know its not over heating, the fan doesnt even reach the second stage

anybody got any suggestions?

my ps3 keeps crashing as well and it seems to be only when i am online i get so p****d o*f when it happens. mainly when i am on far cry 2, but it happens on other games. can any one explain why this happens. ps3 online id is glen_91

Yeah my playstation keeps on crashing multiply times a day, its been happening for about a week now. Im just going to ring up sony, for its still under warranty.

Its stuff like this that makes me scared to get a ps3, but you guys should call sony.

All PS3's will eventually crash that is the way sony designed them you didn't think that you would spend 300 or 400 dollars and that would be a one time purchase? Did you honestl? If it was then how would they make any more money off of us? Of course there are the over priced games, but what better than a faulty console after the warranty has expired oh just to think the repair costs luckily mine broke down before the warranty expired and i sent it off cost free got it repaired cost free and now it runs great for the 1st month after repair and now that my warranty is up oh surprise surprise it keeps shutting off randomly during games which pisses me off and now that i have a home network during upgrades. Now sony knows what its doing! Either way I go get it repaired, or buy a new one they have created a new way to get more of my hard earned cash now if only I could come up with a product and plan like that I would be set for life. * signed* D***it I gotta get a new PS3
