How are you connected to the internet. Hard wired (CAT5 cable to hub/switch/router) or wireless and what is your connection type (DSL/Cable/Dial up, etc.). If you are wireless how far from the router are you and do you have other wireless devices that can access the internet your location? 8)

WHo is your internet provider,, Road Runner LOL? how many computers do you have running in the house? Even if your wireless and close, it is not always secure there are so many things that can cause interference You should just go wired

All I can think of is, make sure any PC isn't downloading while you're using Multi-player, make sure another games console isn't being used when you're using Multi-player because other internet use can take part of your Broadband speed that slows your connection down and make sure your console isn't too far from the router if you're wireless. I prefer to be wired because when I was wireless I kept getting disconnected. Also, you might need to upgrade your Broadband speed. I had serious issues with a 100% connection in my PS3 and when I asked my ISP as a reminder what my Broadband speed was, I was told it was a 2Meg and I thought no wonder I'm having problems. I upgraded to a 20Meg and things improved but now 100%. There's times when I play GTA 4 and there's still lagging but that is the Rockstar server and the odd others lagging. As I said, things improved for me a great deal but not 100%. I know Rockstar have a problem now and then because sometimes when I enter Free Mode there's times when nobody can shoot each other dead when we're all sharing the same lagging and that proves Rockstar have a lagging going on. That one is hard for them to fix because of all the different servers around the world.
