Its hype, I know its just hype but im depressed by it. I WANT THE PS3 TO LIVE, dang it. Everyone is saying the PS3 is a sinking ship but and its getting me down. Some words of encouragement would help... and yeah, I have my PS3 and loving it, Warhawk ftw!
I dont know what your looking for, but with games like MGS4, KZ2, FFXIII among others ont he horizon how can the ps3 be a sinking ship? Sony is a multibillion dollar global entity, they know this market well, and will ultimately come out of this for the better.
All I can is don't worry about it. PS3 has just started Flexing its muscles but I know what you are talking about, fanboys on bothsides are really taking this to another level. Look at this way, in the next years when all of the proven/probable AAA games come out you can bathe in the glory in owning a PS3.

Read that line again and you shouldn't need any words of encouragement. All that matters is that you are happy with your console.
Its not that something about the PS3 has me down, its all the fanboys of the other systems constantly blasting the PS3 saying it will never make it off the ground and things of that nature.
I feel the same way at times. Things will get better eventually when the PS3 is easier to develop. I don't think it will win this console war, but it will not completely flop like the dreamcast. The reason I think the others are doing so well is because they completely got rid of their consoles and learned from their mistakes from the last war after being crushed by the PS2; Just think of it this way the PS4 will definately win the next war as Sony will learn from this war's mistakes.
All i can say is that this is deja vu, ps2 had alot of the same complaints with its early on lack of games, and dont let the MS fanboys bug you, they just cant see how anyone can play anything besides halo, just be glad that you have a ps3 and it isnt in the for repairs like 33% of the 360 owners have had to go through. Also like someone pointed out, you love your ps3 and thats all that matters because at the end of the day you buy your system for you, and dont let any fanboy tell you otherwise.

Dude stop listening to all that. Believe me both console fanboys are pretty bad. Look at all of the exclusives I wrote up there, those are some console movers up there. Each and every one of them will move consoles to a particular gamer. We don't have halo 3 but we have our own games which caters to a much wider audience.
2008. This is what will be the year for sony, the end of this year also looks really promising with many titles comming out. If your enjoying your console you have nothing to worry about. SCEA is not going to let it sink, trust me...it has too much going for it right now
Plus this was how it was during PS1 and PS2. PS1 was heavily behind N64 and PS2 was behind dreamcast as well. Give it time. With such as bigger price, the PS3 is around the same sales as Xbox was before 360 got their killer app in Gears. So as I have been saying give it time.
The PS3 will show what it made up in the coming years.

Look at it this way the ps3 has 5 million sales in less than a year with games like warhawk,HS, NGS, resistance as its prime games. While the 360 has 9 million sold in a year and a halfwith halo/bioshock/gears. If you ask me 5 mill is pretty good for a system "with no games"
Tell you something that makes you feel better. lol. No hype Sony will pass Microsoft "its on pace to do so." If they would of come out at the same time, Sony would of been a mile ahead already." The hardware in that old clunker "the 360" will only fill up another 2 years at most. By 09 "maybe 08" the PS3 will have the most dominate graphics, games, and system. It already has the dominate system. I don't think a list of games is necessary, most have already done so. And my sig. Put it this way, GTA 4 might be playable on both machines and on a DVD. But GTA 5 may not be. Halo was their bomb, so of course everyone is gonna be iffy for a little. But this bomb was about as large as they can and will go. This is what I was waiting on actually. Becuase I knew it was what happens after now, that tells the story.

True Dreamcast was my fav last gen...even though it died early :( but i still play it.
Unfortunately Sega was not the super media company of the world like Sony, or a super power like Microsoft. Or they would still be here. Sony and Microsoft cant be moved no matter what.

That's what fanboys of other systems do. We all know the PS3 will do fine. The system itself is fantastic - all it needs now it a bigger library. That will come in time. By Easter, you will have the PS3 you dreamed of and the fnaboys will hush.
The PS3 is doing much better than people think it's doing. Now there are some analyst saying that the PS3 will be back on top in short time now. So with all this I see the PS3 being around for years to come.

The PSN has come so far in just 10 months, the library has improved drastically and looks to be getting better very soon. This is just the beginning of the "next gen", the first 10 months of a system isnt going to be it's defining moment. It seems like everyone hates Sony, everyone. That's why everyone is bashing the PS3. People hate to see someone dominate for as long as the PS1 and PS2 did, and since the PS3 isnt dominating, everyone is bashing it. Dont worry man, the PS3 is an amazing system, and if Sony drops the price you can expect people to be snatching them up. Sony wouldnt be so far behind this gen if it was the same price as the 360. Dont sweat it, prices will only go down from here, and sells will only come up from here.

Provided things don't continue how they have been lately, and considering how much time the ps3 has been on the market in comparison to Xbox360 it isn't looking to bad.
Sure it has its delays etc. but if half of the games i have got listed in "My Games" list. come out on time, it should be doing really well for 2008!

Well put i could not agree more, the second there is a price drop there will be so many console sales it really isn't even funny.. For example i have got 1 friend who has said that exact thing, when it comes down - im down. I wonder how many more of my friends would reflect his opinion. Food for thought..Definately!!
