PS3 Making weird "digital" "alien" sounds during gameplay (B

After reading several forums about other PS3 odd sounds with no success finding one regarding the same issue as mine, I thought I would start a forum for it. When playing for an extended time, 4 hours +, sometimes my PS3 will start making some crazy noises. The only way to describe it is by comparing it as every sound being way over digitalized or "alien" like. I really only play COD franchise games and BF3. I have never experienced the problem during BF3. However, MW3 was by far the worse....to the point I thought it would blow my surround system. My PS3 is around 3 years old and has never been abused. Resetting the system DOES correct the problem, but I would like to get to the root of the problem so that I can have it fixed or at least keep it from getting worse. ps Also having issues playing newer released blue-rays. I have to let my system warm up with a game or keep inserting the blue-ray over and over until it eventually works. If anyone else is experiencing this issue please post here!

My ps3 would make a click then like a really obscure beep like noise when I first got it. It lasted about 3 months, and now I dont hear it anymore. No problems tho.

may i ask is it the fat or slim ps3. it seems to be a blue ray issue or it could be that you had it for 3 years the parts could of got wear and tear on it you should get it check or sell it and buy a new one in my opinion.
