ps3 mic wired??

i was wondering if ps3 had a wired mic that you could buy. i really hate the sound quality on my wireless mic and the fact that i have to charge the mic every few days... its just a hassle for me when you wanna use the mic but its dead. anyways does the ps3 make a wired mic that possibly plugs into the usb of the controller and if they do has anyone tried it and knows how the quality is? THANKs

Use Sony's official wireless mic. Its awsome, its sound quality is almost perfect, you have a mute button, you have a earphone so you're TV will only play the game sounds while the voice communication is being played directly into your ear and it has a neat stand so you just put it there when you're not using it to charge it up.

And it has the HQ mode witch reads out your remaning battery and volume setting on screen like your regular DS3 controller, and when your put it back in its stand it will automaticaly turn itself off.

I have one thats wired to the PS3 and it was 30 bucks

thanks chaiplain i didn't really know that much about the official sony mic, that really helped i think im gonna look into getting one

if you want a good wired headset for the ps3 then go out and buy the Turtle Beach PX21 or Turtle Beach P21
