Assassins Creed is not that bad, its a decent game, definetly doesnt deserve a 9 though, more like a 7.5-8 ish, the graphics on ac is outstanding, but the story is a bit off, and it gets real repititiverealistic44

Overrated isnt necesarily bad, it just means that game isnt as good as advertised, for me would be Assassins Creed also.. it was good but it got repetitive too damn quickly

I don't hate AC. In fact, I do enjoy it to some extent, but I just don't think it lives up to the hype. I'd have given it a 7/10: just a passer, not worthy of excellence.

How can AssCreed be overrated if everyone says it's overrated, I think it's underrated the game is a lot of fun.

IMO CoD4 is the most overrated game ever, I do like CoD4 though.

R6V2 by far. Its the same da** game as the first one except for some new weapons. That come out and people start hating on call of duty 4, yet they were all about call of duty 4 until R6V2 came out.

Call Of Duty 4 is by far the most overrated game on the PS3 IMO. I don't go on online very often, since I'm not a big fan of online play (I prefer local multiplayer) and I don't view it as anything but an extra that shouldn't really have too much impact on the overall quality of the game (more often than not, its the users that make online fun, not any actual effort by the developers).

But, looking solely at the single-player mode, this game just isn't that great. It is fun but, a few good set pieces aside, just seems like a mediocre experience. I had more fun with Killzone on the PS2 (a game that got pretty low scores by comparison).

Assassin's Creed is extremely overrated. That game got old really fast... and the storyline was retarded.

Both Resistance and Uncharted seem to get more attention than they deserve, but I've only played the demos for both so I'm probably not getting a good picture here.

Because Gamespot gave it a 9.0 -- a lot of other sites gave it similar marks, and there are still some people going around the forums saying it's a work of art... maybe it is, but allegedly so was that picture of the Virgin Mary made out of elephant feces. I don't think it's the worst game ever made, but I think it was only passable and Ubisoft was probably paying some people for those reviews.

You want a good game like that, track down Hitman Blood Money. Runs circles around AC's repetitive gameplay.
