PS3 needs a good introduction to different games

This system really needs a reboot in games. The only thing it really offers is three kinds: sport, bloody rated M's, and Shooter games. there are like 5 or less RPGs. GOSH... it needs RPGs, arcade, etc. kind of games. Man... i want something new. there's gotta be a protest for difference... sigh, i really want something new...:(

The future line up proves that PS3 is turning out to have a very diverse selection of games. With games like Heavy Rain and Last Guardian in the works we are getting more originality and I'm sure Sony has plenty more up their sleeve.

More RPG's will come, as the PS3's popularity keeps increasing in Japan more and more dev's will be making them. And as for WRPG's there are quite a few on the way Dragon Age Origins, Alpha Protocol, Fallout new Vegas, Mars etc. So I feel the PS3 has much to offer right now and even more to come.

TC if all you're seeing is shooters and sport's games you're not looking very hard.

Look around and you''ll find different games. hat was Little Big Planet, a bloody shooter?

i Don't think the problem is quality, i think the problem is quantity, if we could just have an official thread for every game and most topics, and people followed the rules, then this place would be so much better. Otherwise you have a billion threads per a topic.

and back on topic, tgs is right around the corner, it would of been smart to wait for that and if nothing new comes up then have a thread complaining about something you can't control.

IMO xbox is the one with only bloody shooters almost every good game they have is a shooter

Besides, the PS3 really only lacks in the RPG department. There are plenty of other games on it of all types.

I agree with little big planet. I REALLY want it. I do agree that some games are FANTASIC. im just saying that i find too much of M rated and first person shooter games. Thats all.I just want more rated E and T. Along with more RPG.

I'd like to see more platformers and arcade shooters (ala Gradius). I'm dream of a day when we have a good selection of sidescrollers (like Castlevania:SOTN). Trine is a game that I've been keeping track of. It looks great!
