PS3 needs a new Twisted Metal

A PS3 version of Twisted Metal would be so ridiculously awesome. I seem to think that Calling All Cars reminds me a bit of Twisted Metal, minus the over-the-top violence.

C'mon Mr. Jaffe, give us Playstation fans what we want. Twisted Metal PS3 followed by God of War 3!

 i have 1,2, 3 (just for the sake of the name) and black and head on, i love them all and played them since i was 5, greatest gaming memories, i really hope they do, they should! prob wait until after warhawk since there incognito,i would buy a ps3 just for it!

I'm not really a big fan of TM, but my 2 brothers are HUGE fans of the game and they are praying that it comes on PS3

HAHA grasshopper was annoying in tm2 'WOOHAAAAA' BAM! yeah calypso should be, they should remake tm1 instead of continuing the series, do up the classic cars, levels and story lines.

 any tm fan head over to this wicked tm fan site called twisted metal alliance, i think its deserted but you can nab up heaps of free downloads and stuff like the original movie endings from the first game (which were replcaed to text), the music for levels, fan art, cartoons.

TM 1 and 2 were huge for the PS1, TM Black was huge for the PS2, and I believe even the PSP one was a big seller.  I don't see why they wouldn't make this game as its guaranteed to sell a bunch of copies, and probably eeven get some peoppe buying the PS3 just so they can play it.

Incog is busy doing Warhawk right now, and I believe Jaffe is under contract to make 2 more downloadable games for PSN, so I'm not sure what will happen there.  I think Incog might get into full gear with this once Warhawk is complete, but I doubt jaffe will head the project.

Twisted Metal 2 and TM Black were the best on the series...

The grass hopper combo was awesome, even tough my fav character was Outlaw and Mr Grim, I remeber Black was if not the first one of my first PS2 games, I always loved it, IF PS3 HAVE LAME GAMES LIKE PIRATES OF THE CARIBEAN, why cant we have have good games like twisted metal

Maybe (MAYBE!!) if this game come to the PS3, it would stop my HALO 3 gaming... (MAYBE)

what was that crap full auto lol....man that game looked real good, sweet graphics...but the game-play was so horrible.

I cant really say i like Twisted Metal,  i don't like that genre of games...its probably in the making right now...alot of games that we liked from past gen are its just that they never get pushed out for some reason...patience is a virtue.

They should remake TM2 instead, it was the best IMO.

 Agreed, I actually loved every game incog put out for PS2 (TM Black, War of the Monsters, and Downhill Domination), so I'd REALLY like to see a sequel to war of the monsters and i wouldnt mind seeing downhill domination 2 either (unfortunately i dont think either of these games sold well).

I liked twisted metal, they should also make a new Vigilante 8 game.they were alright too.

If they make a TM for the PS3, they should really make it deep, and flesh out the story lines. I'm talking FF style. Maybe make different scenarios for each character. Different bosses, etc. That stuff in black was annoying. I swear i watched Minion blow up, and that stupid arse fall from that hellicopter at least 50 times. It got pretty annoying. Anyway, yeah. This is the next gen. I want some seriously next gen conscepts! re-invent Twisted Metal, make it all that it can be! Also, Minion has to be a military vehicle again. That stuipid tanker truck thing in black was retarded IMO.

Another cool feature would be a weapon/parts loadout. This would be cool if there was a fairly long story to each char. Then you could actually swap in and out better armor, motors, and of course, weapons. Maybe even make a "build your own abomination" section, where you could piece together your own creation, and maybe take it online. All sorts of awesome possibilities for it.

Maybe make it more like a sandbox type game? where you're actually in a post-apocalyptic  city/outskirts, full of pedestrians, other vehicles, and destructable houses/objects o plenty.

One thing that DEFINATELY needs to be worked on is the physics. So far the TM series have had little to no physics. I like Burnout's "realistic" physics. Where it feels a lot more like you're driving a 1500lb sports car, or an 8000lb truck, than everything being like a bobsled on ice. (A'LA Full Auto 2... ridiculous).

the car combat and damage could look insane on the PS3, I wasn't that crazy over FA2...

Hardcore fan of TM so I would be all for a new TM on the PS3, especially if the original creator was behind it. TM4 was the only let down in the series in my book.

My budy would buy a PS3 the day they released word of TM on PS3.
