of course, not many people think of the exclusives as much but after awhile, it starts to take effect. alot of people arent phased by the fact that FF13 are on the 360 now, but its not the only game, and im sure there will be more in the future. The PS3 is failing because of this. ZenesisXI stopped reading when you said this
whats next..... killzone 2, resistance 2, little big planet, are these going to become multi platform?bioshock91If they lose those titles too, Sony can just throw their own PS3 in the trash and work on the PS4, and lets hope this time around they focus on their exclusives
I think exclusives are going away, and that's not really a bad thing. There will be a few great titles on each system per year but everything else will be multiplatform. The PS2 didn't need them, it was a great machine, and so is the PS3. The 360 is a good machine too, but not a good as the PS3 and that will slowly continue to show.btaylor2404
Finally someone with some sense. These Game Developers are not going to continue cutting out half of this generation of gamers by making exclusives. Microsoft and SOny will continue to produce their own exclusives, but that will all go away when they realize that if they make their own games multiplatform they will be able to make money from Users of the competitors system.

Well thanks, and to add to our double agreement here. If I am developer X and have a new title, why would I limit it to only one machine or the other? I don't know the ins and outs of how much a developer gets paid to keep a title exclusive but I doubt it's more than they'd make if it was a hit across all platforms. As someone who owns both a PS3 and 360 I buy all my games for the PS3 and save the 360 only for exclusives. I can't trust it, even though I like it's interface (2 users signed on at the same time, come on Sony!), but when you put the same game in each system I just like the PS3 better.

Because you like one system over the other, or want both. I am fortunate enough to have both, but I have always had a PS, never wanted an XBox, but loved the 360 controllers and it was out first. Got the PS3 around a year ago and have slowly stopped playing the XBox, I still play Halo, and a few others, but I like the choice of buying a game for the system I like the best. I think consoles today sell themselves, it's not like years ago, the PS3 is a fantastic machine, even more so once they get another year or so into it.

I think Final Fantasy 13 looks like ass. They don't have a good story or interesting characters, so they fill up the trailers with ADHD style action scenes.
Final Fantasy 10 was great, but after Square lost millions on that Spirits Within movie in 2001, they've done nothing but churn out crap.
There aren't many big hyped up exclusive games anymore, are there? I can understand some people being upset about their ps3 feeling less valuable, but I'm sure most of them are just mad that they can't do stupid things like brag about their console of choice on the internet anymore.

well than should i look forward to seeing gears of war 2, fable 2, ninja gaiden 2, mass effect, halo4 ( if there is one), & Too human on the ps3 as well ? :D i do agree though that they want to make as much money as possible off their games so selling it on more than one console would make sense.....but if thats the case i want to see every game coming out multi platform not just some ? ;)
thanks for stating th obvious.
if i knew all my fav games were gonna be on the 360 i would of just bought one. wtf is Sony doing!?!?!Blitz_Nemesis
WTF with SONY ??? as Blitz says... i would just bought a 360... cuz i prefer to buy a 360 that is lower price than the ps3 and have the same games... :S

Gears and Fable sucked. Didn't get into Mass Effect, but the NG series is great, but NG Sigma was a much better version than Black on the 360, just had to wait a bit. I'd love for them all to be muti's too, but we all know MS has huge pockets and plays hardball, so they'll still snag a few here and there.
