ps3 netflix

does anone in the USA know when they are releasing the netflix option on ps3?... i know in canada they already implemented it, im just curious when USA will finally get this going?

Well I don't know exactly your asking because Netflix has been on the PS3 since the start of this year or late last year. All you have to do is request a Neflix straming disk and you can watch movies on your instant queue right off the ps3. I have heard rumors that they were supposed to ditch the disk and make it so that you can just access it from the xmb. Never happened yet though. As of right now we still need the Streaming disk.

You just described what he's talking about. I'm in canada and I have no disc for it, it's just on the menu under Video.

Well **** guess i'm behind the times. Lmao. Sorry for the old info. :(

I already have too many options for netflix with my tivo, 360, blu-ray player, and samsung tv. I'll just move the ps3 to another room so I'll have the whole house covered.

It'll be disc-less by the end of this month.

currently you have to sign up for Netflix (free trialor membership), then select the option to have a streaming disc for your PS3 to be mailed to you (free, i have 2 disc's). A no-disc required update would be awsome for the PS3 and bring in more ppl to Netflix.
