ps3 - online gaming

i am getting a ps3 soon and i was wondering about the online play.

Well, to start it's completely free to play online- just need to have a broadband connection. Most of the games with online use regional servers based on the version of the game you have- with North American games you will not see very many gamers from the UK or elsewhere unless they imported the game.

You will find that some games do not support voice chat. read up on a game's features to findout if the one you are interested in does. You can use a USB headset if you like (such as the SOCOM set for the PS2) or, for less cables, use a bluetooth- enabled headset. With somelooking around you can find some good deals on them inthe various computer/ cel phone stores and sites.

I heard that its alright but XBL is better! BUT Resistance can play up to like 50 plyers which is a LOT! cur2702

40 players but still its alot and resistance is pretty much lag free so far.
