the ps3 isn't too expensive for the tech you're getting...that being said I do think Sony went too far with the amount of tech put in and as a result the price is keeping them from being competitive.......so yeah it's fair to say....
Depends. If you want the best in PC parts for gaming your gonna spend $600 easily. DDR2-3 memory could easily be half that if you get enough. Excellent graphics card. a seagate hard drive if you are like me and get a decent hard drive.
But a console has a longer lifespan compared to a PC. Which is also the reason why PC is so expansive you gotta upgrade your system every 6 to 9 months to keep up. Thats why im getting myself a PS3.

Nah....I haven't had to upgrade my PC for over 2 years, and I have been able to play anything on the highest settings. I am upgrading when DX10 comes out.
A good quality PC that's geared toward gaming will easily cost you a lot more than a PlayStation 3 would. That said, they each have their advantages and disadvantages. I decided not to choose between them and got both the PS3 and a new PC recently. :D

yup same but i havent upgraded mine for 4 years it still runs every game on high ill be upgrading for dx10 all so but end of this year maybe
