ps3 or wii?!?!

If u wanna spend 300 bucks just to play Super Smash Bros Brawl, go for it.

If you prefer PS3 exclusives, get the ps3 ;)

ok i have both... the Wii is great for impressing girls... u know holding their hands and guiding the Wiimote... playing games like Mario Kart, Galaxy and Brawl... but if ur a core gamer at heart and so is ur girl... the PS3 simply for titles like MGS4, LBP coming soon, Resistance 2... and if u dont already have it for 360, COD4

Seriously, the decision is easy since its two different systems and you don't get fanboys arguing about exclusives. Wii is good if you have small children or if you want to get together with a bunch of friends and throw your controller into your tv (sorry, this *is* the PS3 forum... :) ). Of, if you want to play one of the many Mario games.

PS3 is good for network play, but there isn't a good selection of party games and to be honest, that isn't its target audience.

If you are still indecisive, do this. Take your money, put it in the bank and let it get interest. Take it out and buy a new console when the decision *is* clear. Then use the interest to get a bag of chips for your first gaming session. ;) Bottom line is "Why rush into a decision if you are unclear? Neither Wii nor PS3 are going anywhere..."

Well this is the PS3 board, so Im sure this will be a one sided topic.

My honest opinion? Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 are two of the best games I've played this gen. If you count Zelda TP as more than a gamecube game, its also outstanding. Besides those titles I only play virtual console games on the Wii. Brawl really wasnt that great imo and seemed like a waste of 50 bucks.

I really think in the long run PS3 is the better console if you are a hardcore gamer. If you like casual games with a few hardcore titles here and there go for the Wii.

but i would go for ps3..they arent comparable.
the wii i just dont know it doesnt do it for me..

sports games what ever..sub-par
super nintendo graphics..hurts my eyes
even on a big hd screen..im used to ps3 obviously :P
